Question by : How did you feel the AP World History exam 2010?
So, I took it Thursday morning, and I think that I hopefully passed. Multiple choice was relatively easy, except for a part in which there was a chart about agriculture and population in China. The DBQ was a FAILURE… for some reason, I just couldn’t understand the documents about the stupid cotton. The other two essays, however, went great, I could even add random details
(Oh, and how bad do you think the dbq will affect me ?)

To the answerer above- You can’t talk about the multiple-choice but you are allowed to talk about the essay questions 2 days after.
I’m sorry but I didn’t take World History, just thought I’d clear that up. I did take Us History, English Language, and Spanish Language, if you have any other questions.

The DBQ is worth around 20% so it will definantly hurt you, but as long as you did good on the multiple choice and essays you will be perfectly fine, and will still be able to get a 3 or 4. The best website to figure out what your projected score will be is appass.com On this site you will be able to plug in your projected totals for each section and it will calculate your exact score. It is an amazing site and I encourage all AP test takers to check out the site at least once before every AP test that they take.

I don’t think your allowe dot to talk about the test as people haven’t taken it yet. Some people take the late version of the exam and are taking it on Wednesday 5/19/10
It’s okay to talk about it now, because it’s 48 hours after the test. They already released the FRQ’s:

Oh, and people taking the late version will most likely have different prompts. Anyways, I thought it went pretty well. Even if you didn’t do so good on the DBQ, you could still make a 3 or 4. But how was it hard? Basically, it was about how industrialization aided cotton production and created a demand for cotton, working conditions like low wages, and how females worked more in Japanese factories than in Indian factories. o:
